The decision of how to spend your time might be the most important question any of us face. That’s why learning to plan and use calendars can be so helpful.

The important thing is that you stop and think, rather than react mindlessly. Think about your priorities and think about the consequences of your choices.

Question whether making an exception to your schedule is in line with your priorities, or if it goes against your priorities. Question whether making this decision, will help you be who you want to be, or not.

Live fully by committing to things fully.

ACTION ITEM: Practice being flexible with your time, but firm with your priorities. Pick one thing from your calendar that is out of sync with your priorities and remove or reschedule it right now.
